Teaching tips:
This activity requires children to have a good understanding of the place value of much larger numbers, including decimals to tenths, hundredths and thousandths.
Discuss how commas are used to separate millions and thousands. Children could use place value columns, or the ‘Place value’ widget to enter the numbers shown so they can clearly see the value of each digit.
