Teaching tips:
Use this activity to support learning about electricity. Where practical equipment is available, begin by introducing pupils to electrical components in person and give them the opportunity to explore building simple circuits. This activity can then be used to reinforce learning by helping pupils recognise and name the different parts of a simple electrical circuit.
It can be used as an independent task during the lesson or as a starter activity in a later lesson to recall and assess prior learning.
