Teaching tips:
Use this activity to support learning about Christmas and the nativity story. This version is written for children working between the ages of 7-11.
Display the story on an interactive whiteboard or screen and read the together as a class. Highlight the key events as they unfold and discuss the meaning the story holds for Christians today.
Explain that Christmas is a celebration of the birth of Jesus, as told in the nativity story. Discuss ways people celebrate Christmas.
Once children are familiar with the story, challenge them to complete Nativity Story ordering - picture version and/or Nativity Story ordering - text version.
